This week, London Park School Hybrid had the privilege of being featured on BBC Radio 4’s Broadcasting House, shining a national spotlight on our innovative approach to secondary education. Presenter Paddy O’Connell visited our Mayfair site to meet students, speak with members of our team, and explore how hybrid schooling is reshaping what school can look like for today’s families.
At LPS Hybrid, students learn online from home four days a week and join us in person one day a week – a model designed to offer flexibility, structure and a deeply personalised learning experience. As Paddy highlighted in the programme, hybrid schooling is still rare in the UK, but its impact is increasingly hard to ignore. For many families, it offers a meaningful alternative to traditional schooling and a powerful answer to challenges such as disengagement and absenteeism.
What stood out most during the visit were our students. Their confidence, clarity and enthusiasm told the real story; hybrid schooling works. Year after year, we see how this model helps young people thrive – academically, socially and personally. They take ownership of their learning, build independence, and develop the self‑belief that comes from being truly seen and supported.
