Admissions

LPS Clapham and LPS Mayfair’s main entry points are Year 7 or Year 9, but we also accept students in other year groups if spaces are available. We don’t tend to  accept applications for Year 11 or Year 13 unless there are compelling reasons – but we do consider each case on an individual basis.

Entry to LPS Hybrid is more ad-hoc as we know that there are many reasons why someone may need to switch to a hybrid model.  We always talk to each student and family individually.  Hybrid operates within LPS Mayfair.

All LPS students progress automatically to LPS SIxth – assuming it’s the right place for them.  We also accept students from other schools as well.

Generally, most students join during the below timeframes but are always willing to discuss entry at other times if places are available.

  • At 11+ (Year 7) at LPS Clapham and LPS Mayfair
  • At 13+ (Year 9) at LPS Clapham and LPS Mayfair
  • At any time (Years 7-11) for LPS Hybrid
  • At 16+ (Year 12) at LPS Sixth

For entry at LPS Mayfair, Clapham or Hybrid:
We’ll ask your current school for a reference and any existing digital data e.g. CAT 4 data, report, exam results etc.  We set great store by the the personal, confidential reference; after all, your current school should know you and your strengths very well.

For entry into LPS Sixth
Let us know your desired A Levels and your actual or predicted GCSE grades and give us the name of someone from whom we can get a confidential reference.

5. Let us know if there are any issues or additional needs we should be aware of

Let us know if your child has any specific needs and provide us with relevant reports or paperwork,

6. Attend an interview or D'Day

Assuming that all is well, we’ll invite you to come and see us either for an interview (LPS Sixth and non-standard entry points) or one of our ‘D’ Days (for entry into Year 7 or Year 9 at Clapham or Mayfair).  This is our chance to discover more about you and for you to discover more about us.  Our D Days are experiential, problem solving sessions which involve creative thinking, collaboration and fun.

For Hybrid and non-standard entry we’ll meet you in person so that we can get to know each other better.

Assuming we all believe that we’re a great fit, we’ll make you an offer and hope you’ll join.

Welcome to LPS!

The Dukes Village

London Park Schools is part of the Dukes Education family of schools and educators, united by a common purpose: to give children the foundations for an extraordinary life. Dukes Education have created clusters of nurseries, prep, and senior schools in village locations to offer families a continuous educational journey within their local area.

As a Dukes senior school, we welcome students from Dukes prep schools right across London, providing priority and/or assured entry at key entry points in Years 7 and 9 and Year 12. We also offer occasional places, subject to availability in the desired year group, ensuring flexibility and continuity within the Dukes community.

This seamless transition enables each student to progress confidently through their senior school years, supported by an organisation that values individuality and fosters long-term growth and development.
