Our admissions process is designed to be smooth and straightforward and focuses on understanding the individual student. We don’t select by entrance exam but use a combination of digital data (either current or arranged by us), current school information and in-person visits to ensure we’re the perfect match.

A Fresh and Kinder Approach to Admissions
Here’s our simple, stress-free process to joining:
1. Enquire Online
Learn more about the LPS approach and LPS Mayfair and get in touch to kickstart the process.
2. Come and See Us
We have regular bi-weekly informal Head’s Coffee mornings and big whole school Open Mornings in the Autumn and Summer terms. We can also arrange Taster Days too.
3. Complete an Application Form
Apply online and pay the registration fee of £150.
4. Provide A Recent Report and Digital Data
We’ll ask for your latest school report and ideally, some digital data (e.g. CAT 4 or MIDYIS – we can arrange if neccessary). The icing on the cake is a sample of recent creative writing too.
5. Provide the name of someone who can provide a confidential reference
We’ll also ask for the name of someone at your current school from whom we can get a confidential reference. We set great store by this as after all, your current school should know you and your strengths very well.
6. Attend a Discovery Day
Assuming that all is well, we’ll invite you to come in and see us. For September entry at 11+ or 13+, this means coming to one of our Discovery or ‘D’ Days. These are experiential, problem solving sessions which involve creative thinking, collaboration and fun and are our chance to discover more about you and for you to discover more about us.
For those joining at other times or into other year groups, we’ll arrange a time for you to talk to the Head, Dr Rainbow or another member of our senior team.
7. Receive an Offer
Assuming we all think that we’d make a good team, you’ll receive an offer from us.
Paying the acceptance deposit confirms your place and the on-boarding process can begin.
8. Accept and Join
