Visitors were greeted with enthusiasm, pride, and the unmistakable energy that defines life at LPS Clapham.
Our Open Morning on Friday 10 October was a tremendous success — filled with energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine sense of pride from our students. There was a wonderful buzz throughout the school as children confidently welcomed visitors, shared their learning, and showcased the many exciting activities they enjoy each day.
It was inspiring to see pupils speak so eloquently and passionately about their experiences at LPS Clapham. They were articulate, thoughtful, and engaging — an absolute credit to both their families and their teachers. Their enthusiasm and pride shone through in every conversation.
In true LPS Clapham spirit, the morning was not only informative but also full of joy and laughter. Visitors were entertained by our talented school band, and the “Learn Like a Londoner” graffiti mural — created by Ms Crabtree and Ms Wilson — was a particular highlight.
Feedback to our “Biggest Open Morning Ever” has been overwhelmingly positive — and especially complimentary about our students:
“These girls have given us the best tour — they love their school!”
“I absolutely loved your ethos and really enjoyed visiting.”
“Our tour guide was magnificent — funny, engaging, and clearly very proud of his school.”
A special thank you to our current parents who joined us to champion the school and answer questions from prospective families.
Mrs Susan Brooks, Head, said:
“We are incredibly proud of how our students represented the school and contributed to such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.”
A joyful, confident morning — and a brilliant reflection of everything that makes LPS Clapham special.
