A kinder admissions approach

Our admissions process is designed to be simple and stress free and focuses on getting to know the individual student. We know exam results don’t tell a student’s full story, so we don’t select by entrance exam results. Instead, we use a combination of digital data, current school information and in-person meetings and visits to ensure we’re a good match.

Our main intake is at Year 7 (11+) with a two-form entry. We have another entry point in Year 9 (13+). We can also offer occasional places if there is availability.

Our admissions process

1. Enquire to learn more about LPS online or over the phone

2. Visit the school and meet the team at an open morning, Head’s coffee morning or 1-2-1 tour

3. Complete an application form online and pay the £180 registration fee

4. Provide all the necessary documentation

  • A recent report, digital data, and any supporting documentation to help us get to know the student. We can request the report and digital data (CAT 4 or MIDYIS) directly from your current school
  • Confidential school reference from the student’s current school

5. For September entry at 11+ attend a discovery day at LPS Clapham – these are experiential days at our school, focused on problem solving, creative thinking, collaboration and fun! They are a chance to see our school in action and for us to get to know the student better

6. For all other joiners, attend a custom discovery day where you’ll meet with our Head and members of our senior leadership team as well as a custom schedule of classes and activities

7. Receive your offer, accept and pay your acceptance deposit to confirm your place and commence the onboarding process
