London Park School Mayfair is celebrating after being commended as the Independent School of the Year for SEND provision at the Independent Schools of the Year Awards for 2026.
Run by Independent School Parent, the awards celebrate excellence across the independent education sector, with hundreds of schools from across the UK entering this year. The judges reported a record number of entries for 2026, making recognition at the commended stage particularly significant.
New for 2026, the Independent School of the Year for SEND Provision award recognises the work schools are doing to support individual students’ needs and enhance their overall school experience.
The commendation reflects the school’s commitment to creating an inclusive environment in which students with different learning needs can feel understood, supported and confident. It also builds on LPS Mayfair’s recent recognition as a finalist for Inclusive SEN Provision in the Education Choices Awards 2026.
The recognition comes during an exciting year for London Park Schools. Earlier in 2026, the group was named Most Innovative Secondary School Group in London at the LUXlife Private Education Awards, recognising its modern and progressive approach to secondary education.
