Life in the Sixth Form is busy. Alongside lessons, independent study, university applications and future planning, students are balancing a range of academic and personal commitments.
At LPS Mayfair, we believe that wellbeing plays an essential role in helping students thrive. That’s why our Sixth Form wellbeing programme creates opportunities for students to take a step back from their studies, strengthen friendships and maintain a healthy sense of balance.
Recently, students enjoyed an afternoon at QUEENS in Bayswater, choosing between ice skating and bowling. The event provided a welcome opportunity to relax, have fun and spend time together outside the classroom.
While the afternoon was certainly enjoyable, it also reflected something much broader about our approach to Sixth Form education. We recognise that students perform at their best when they feel supported, connected and confident. Creating opportunities for students to build positive relationships and recharge is an important part of preparing them for success, both in school and beyond.
As students progress through the Sixth Form, wellbeing remains a key focus alongside academic achievement, helping them develop the resilience, independence and self-awareness needed for the next stage of their journey.
