Schools, like armies, do best when they are fed well. Luckily for us, our catering partners, Holroyd Howe provide us with a selection of delicious meals every day. Menus are seasonal, varied and cater to all dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal options. There are also opportunities for tasting menus, celebratory days and more.
Whilst our food is delicious, we also believe that mealtimes are about more than the food, they’re a chance to recharge, chat with friends and staff in the middle of a busy school day. Our wonderful Greyhound Inn canteen is found on the lower ground floor. In the 16th Century it was an inn for local travellers before the beautiful house was built on its footprint. It is a fun and atmospheric place to eat lunch or have a break, meet friends and chat to peers and teachers alike.
Sixth form students can choose to have lunch at the designated sixth form space in the Greyhound Inn using a pay-as-you-go system to buy our food, or eat food they’ve brought from home, or go off-site for lunch.
