LPS Sixth is for students aged 16–18, welcoming both those continuing their journey through London Park Schools and students joining us for the first time. Our personalised A level programme is built around each student’s strengths, ambitions and future plans, ensuring that these important final years of school prepare them purposefully for university, apprenticeships and the world of work, while continuing to foster intellectual curiosity and a genuine enjoyment of learning.
Located at LPS Mayfair, Sixth Form students benefit from dedicated teaching, study and social spaces while remaining an important part of the wider LPS community. This gives them the best of both worlds: the opportunity to take on leadership and mentoring roles within a close-knit school, alongside the increased independence and freedom that should characterise Sixth Form life in the heart of London.
Our approach deliberately balances independence with structure. Students are trusted to take greater responsibility for their learning, manage independent study and make mature decisions about their time, while being supported by a strong academic and pastoral framework. Teaching takes place in small classes, typically with no more than eight students, providing high levels of individual attention, regular contact with subject specialists and teaching that can respond closely to each student’s needs.
Academically ambitious, personalised, while deeply rooted in the supportive community that makes LPS Mayfair so special; the perfect step between senior school and university.
