Head’s Welcome

Welcome from the Head, Dr Adrian Rainbow

London Park School Sixth is the natural endpoint for those coming from our smaller, inclusive 11-16 sites as well as welcoming those coming from other schools. It has the same personal LPS approach, a wide choice of subjects and numerous extra-curricular and enrichment opportunities. What really sets us apart is our offer of ‘structured independence’; we give more structure than most stand-alone sixth forms but combine this with a more relaxed, adult approach than most schools to provide the perfect gateway to life beyond school – whether that’s work or further education.

Above all, we want to provide our students with the opportunities, encouragement and support to equip them with the skills, confidence and qualifications to enable them to move on to the next stage with confidence, ready for a successful future.

Welcome from the Director of Sixth Form

I have over 12 years experience in running successful sixth forms all over the world and I understand the intricacies of not only the UK university application process, but the US, Australia and many more.  I love working with A Level students and helping them make that transition into adulthood.  My role as Director of Sixth Form is to steer, guide and support students as they navigate sixth form life and prepare for life beyond our doors.

At LPS Sixth we pride ourselves on offering an inclusive and expansive educational experience that sets our students on the path to becoming the  broad-minded, creative, caring global citizens of tomorrow. Our curriculum is designed with a strong emphasis on A-level rigour, complemented by supracurricular learning and unparalleled pastoral support, to ensure each student not only meets but surpasses their potential.

In addition to academic excellence, we focus on the wider benefits of research skills and essay writing to thoroughly prepare our students for university life. Being part of a small schools group allows us to offer the dual advantages of small classroom teaching for personalised, rigorous learning, and a broader community for enriched opportunities. This intimate setting ensures that every student receives bespoke careers and university guidance, alongside a tailor-made plan designed to set them on the road to success, whatever that may look like for the individual.

Our commitment to extending learning beyond traditional boundaries encourages students to step out of their comfort zones through trips, work experience, internships, and engagement with guest speakers in London. At the forefront of digital learning, our focus on AI integration prepares our students for the technological advancements of the future. Moreover, we champion pupil voice and leadership, actively involving students in shaping the future of our community.

Choose London Park School Sixth for an education that offers not just academic excellence, but a holistic approach to success and personal development.
