Moving on to LPS Sixth

We offer all LPS Clapham students a seamless move on to LPS Sixth in Victoria for A Levels where they are joined by students from LPS Mayfair, LPS Hybrid and students from other schools.

From Year 10 onwards, students spend time at the Sixth form for taster tessons, careers days and other events.  These are done in  conjunction with their counterparts from LPS Mayfair. This helps ensure that the Sixth form is a familiar place and that the transition to Sixth form is smooth and seamless.

As part of the preparation for A Levels, students meet the Head of Sixth Form, Mr Nathan Mountford, to ensure we know their strengths, weaknesses, hopes, and aspirations; we want to know who you are and where you aspire to go. We work closely with each student to help them make the decision that’s right for them.

We want to be sure that they will thrive at this level so we usually ask for a minimum of Grade 6 in subjects related to the options someone wants to pursue further and a Grade 7 in GCSE maths for those wanting to study this at A Level.
