On a thought-provoking visit to the Imperial War Museum, Year 9 students analysed war-time artworks, explored reconstructed trenches and reflected on the human stories behind history. The workshop connected art, empathy and analysis — highlighting how learning at LPS Clapham stretches beyond textbooks into London’s rich cultural landscape.

Engineering Curiosity: Year 9 Take On the Royal Institution Egg-Crash Challenge

Year 9 students stepped into the world of real-life engineering at the Royal Institution, designing crash-cars to protect an egg passenger and negotiating an equipment “shop” as part of the challenge. Their creativity, teamwork and problem-solving brought physics and design to life — just one example of how LPS Clapham’s “learn like a Londoner” approach…
