Success Stories

As they come to the end of their journey with us, we’d like to highlight just some of the many success of our Y11 students.  has formed a key part of telling the Hybrid story to new and interested families as this model expands.

We’ve seen many new students join us across all year groups, for a variety of reasons – but what we are so delighted to see is that they have flourished with us. When we see them stand up and talk about their experience within the school to prospective students and parents, we couldn’t be more proud.

Just some of the notable successes from this term across year groups, come in both sport and academic performance.

Leo H (Y9) won numerous accolades in the UK Maths Olympiad earning a merit, putting him in the top 25% of the 1% who participated. This is yet another demonstration of his exceptional mathematical ability.

Eddie K (Y10) is a sports superstar generally, competing regularly in international rugby tournaments above his age group (U19 level). However, this term he also announced himself on the London athletics scene winning gold in the shot-put and silver in the discus (for which he had not trained). He will now go on to compete regionally in Westminster.

Damian (Y10) participated in Petrich, Bulgaria, mountain biking. Damian was placed 20th out of 56 riders, finishing with an impressive time of 4:06. It was a solid performance, especially on a notoriously challenging track. Navigating such technical terrain demands both precision and resilience, and Damian’s placement reflects the hard work he’s been putting into his training.

And Destini, our star dancer, who regularly appears in school with silverware garnered over the weekend. She competes in a number of areas of competitive dance including ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical and commercial. She is well on her way to fulfil her career goals of becoming a star in the world of performing arts.

These, amongst so many other stories, are testimony to our Hybrid students, all of whom we are immensely proud of.
