All LPS students progress to LPS Sixth for A Levels- if this is the right option for them. This includes Hybrid students – although Hybrid at Sixth form is a different model from that in the younger years as so much depends on what subjects interest each student. Whilst we aim to accommodate as many subjects as possible, the reality is that some require more time in school than others.
We start with the person, not the subject.
As with all schools within the LPS group, the focus at LPS Sixth is on individualised care and support. This means that we don’t simply offer a menu of A level options, but a range of personal career pathways to help students make the optimal choices for their future.
So, when considering A Levels, we always start by understanding a student’s interests and aspirations and that’s why we talk about career pathways rather than A level options blovs. We want to understand YOU and your aspirations. We don’t prescribe and we do offer flexibility too.
