On the 18th June, We were thrilled to welcome Lucy Chapman, interdisciplinary artist, teacher, and dyslexia specialist, for a fantastic learning enrichment session. Lucy, whose work combines art and science with a focus on climate, neuroscience, and lived experience, introduced our students to the art of sun printing.
Using cyanotype techniques, students explored a creative new medium, producing stunning prints while learning about light exposure and composition. With major works held by the Wellcome Collection and a recent MA in Art and Science from Central Saint Martins, Lucy brought a wealth of knowledge and inspiration.
The session was a perfect blend of creativity, science, and hands-on fun, thank you Lucy!
