Year 12 students at LPS Sixth enjoyed an engaging and thought-provoking session with a guest speaker from Cardiff Metropolitan University, exploring what comes next after A-levels.
The talk encouraged students to think critically about their future pathways — from the value of university life to the benefits and challenges of higher education. Students also gained insight into graduate schemes and how these programmes can shape early career development.
A highlight of the morning was an interactive game of “Guess the Graduate Scheme Salary,” which prompted lively discussion — and a few surprises. Students left the session with a clearer understanding of university options, employability prospects, and the many routes available beyond Sixth Form.
